E1 (RM22-10) is the final rule directing NERC to address reliability concerns pertaining to transmission system planning for extreme weather events. E2 (RM22-16) is the final rule directing transmission providers to file informational reports describing their current or planned policies for conducting extreme weather vulnerability assessments.
- National Resources Defense Council opines that achieving clean energy targets across the Midwest will require strategies to quickly enhance the region’s transmission system, advocates say.
Minerals:

- E&E Greenwire reports EPA is allowing more time for input on its proposals setting the most stringent power plant standards in history following pressure from Republicans to extend the comment period.
